Important information for Landlords

The below is for current or potential listing requests. We are unable to approve or allow listings without the below remain on the site.

We are making some changes/updates for the upcoming academic year to the accommodation listings to ensure clarity and transparency for students wishing to search for a place to stay while they study at DkIT.

These requirements may be subject to change at any time, but we will advise.

This means that ALL listings will need to include the following otherwise they will not be approved :

• Clear photographs showing the listing available
• What’s the costing? Is it Monthly or Weekly?
• What’s included or excluded in the price? i.e. bins, wifi, electricity etc
• Where is the listing located? This doesn’t have to exact but needs to be informative. This is to ensure there is no wasting of the students time or your own. Also, if a student will need their own transport ie if there are no bus services servicing your area
• Is it available All Week or Sunday evening to Friday morning etc
• It is not possible to request Female/Male only as this is deemed as discriminatory.
• If your listing is occupied you need to advise so that it can be removed or if you change your mind also.

We will be doing housekeeping of the site in the next week or so and if your listing does not comply with the above, it will be removed.
