Vice President for Student Engagement

Hey! I’m Kshitiz “Kayzee” Mittal

I’m originally from India and a proud part of the DkIT community since 2021, I bring a hands-on, creative approach to student leadership. Currently pursuing a BA in Global Marketing & Strategic Communication, I know how to turn ideas into engaging, real-world solutions. My experience running local ventures like Common Ground Café, Canopy Truck and Sharpz Studio have given me a unique understanding of what it takes to build a community from the ground up.

I believe the Student Union should function just like a great community hub: welcoming, supportive, and open to all. As an active member of the student body, I combine my background in public relations with a passion for creative storytelling. I am dedicated to using strategic communication to ensure every student’s voice is heard and also plans to participate in it on a national level at AMLÉ. From coordinating local advocacy projects to designing welcoming spaces, I am committed to listening to students, advocating for their needs, and helping build an inclusive, future-focused DkIT where diverse ideas thrive.

If you need to contact me for any reason, you can call into the Students Union Office or you can email at suvpresengagement@dkit.ie

I am looking forward to the year ahead!

Kshitiz Mittal
