I am the new Students Union President of DkIT for the upcoming Academic Year.

I have been a student in DKIT for 5 years now. I graduated from Sports, Exercise and Enterprise  November 24′ and completed my first term as Vice President for Student Engagement in the Student Union for academic year 24/25′.

I hope to put my enthusiasm and passion for people and success into the role of President for the Students Union.

My goal for this year is to bring the energy back to our fantastic campus. With the help of my Vice Presidents, Tobi and Rosheen we intend to make 2025/2026 an Academic and Social year to remember!

Representation is to be a key priority in my role this year. It is my priority to ensure the students of DkIT, are represented both, across the college and nationally.

Getting the Balance Right

Life here in DkIT is all about getting the balance right. You’re here first and foremost to get a top-class education. At the same time, why not get involved in everything our college has to offer. Get involved in a society (maybe even hold a committee position), become a Class Rep and check out all the Sports and Society Office has to offers.

Enjoy the social side of college which is important too. Make the most of your time here, it flies! Remember though, last-minute cramming the night before an exam never works, trust us we’ve tried it! Keeping on top of things is a skill that will serve you well here.
